Wonders
I really wonder sometimes if we are ever going to get to a place where we aren't trying to figure out how to afford well anything. I mean really. It really is hard for me because we are always broke. We often times don't even have the money to pay our bills. And I have tried to look for work and I am really trying to figure things out. It's just so difficult. I am praying constantly for a job so that I can help and we can somehow get some of these bills paid off. It seems like we finally get a credit card paid off but then we have to use it because we can't live otherwise. I really wish we could figure something out. Once, when our cars are paid off, we will finally be able to put money in savings. And then maybe we will be able to get credit cards paid off and actually be able to survive. I want Chris to get out of the army in 2 years. But if we can't get ahead then that will never happen. I am just so worried and stressed out over it all. How does anyone get ahead in life? I feel like we never will.

I didn't know how we were even gonna make it with me being a Stay At Home Mom, but we have somehow made it work. I coupon for everything I buy! I buy everything consignment for Blair and Brian and I hardly ever buy anything for ourselves. Eating out has been drastically cut back and we just make due with what we have. Life will not be luxurious, vacations will be our yearly camping trip with my family (only a couple hundred dollars) and we won't be buying new cars until it is absolutely imperative. We have a very strict budget we are living on. And I don't feel it necessary to give extravagant gifts and no one expects it from us. It's tough, but you just have to buckle down and do it. Believe me, I wish we could have a few more things in life, but I am proud of how far we have come and even though we don't have everything the people around us do I get to stay home, we have paid off all our credit card debt and haven't put anything on them in a year! You can do it! No one said it was gonna be easy - just hang tough and it will happen! :)
